Computer Shortcuts for daily Life

Shortcuts? We all love shortcuts. We all love to do things that requires less time and less efforts. We can use shortcuts in computers also. Yes, you’ve heard it right. Computers are very important part of our daily life and shortcuts can make our boring works a bit more fun and faster. Computer Shortcuts are combination of key’s that can be found in keyboard.

Let’s dive into some computer shortcuts that are going to help us through our daily life without any use of mouse (Some of shortcuts I use myself on daily basis).


            



Some basic computer shortcut keys:

o   F1 - Help for Microsoft Windows.

o  Esc - To interrupt, cancel a running program or process.

o   Ctrl + A - To select all texts or contents.

o   Ctrl + X - To Cut the selected items.

o   Ctrl + Del - To delete the selected items.

o   Ctrl + C - To Copy the selected items.

o   Ctrl + V - To Paste the copied items.

o   Ctrl + F - To find a particular item.

o   Alt + E - To enable EDITS options in the ongoing program.

o   Alt + F- To enable FILE MENU options in the ongoing program.

o   Home - To take the user to the beginning of the ongoing line.

o   Ctrl + Home - Go to the beginning of the document.

o   End - Go to the end of the line.

o   Ctrl + End - Go to the end of a document.

o   Shift + Home - Highlight from current position to beginning of the line.

o   Shift + End - Highlight from current position to end of the line.

o   Ctrl + Left arrow - Move one word to the left at a time.

o   Ctrl + Right arrow - Move one word to the right at a time.

       


Some MICROSOFT WINDOWS shortcut keys:

 

o   Alt + Tab - To switch between open applications (forward).

o   Alt + Shift + Tab - To switch between open applications (backward).

o   Alt + Print Screen - To capture screenshot for the ongoing program.

o   Ctrl + Alt + Del - To open Windows task manager.

o   Ctrl + Esc - To open the start menu.

o   Alt + Esc - To Switch between applications on the taskbar.

o   F2 - To Rename.

o   F5 - Refresh contents.

o   Alt + F4 - Close open program.

o   Ctrl + F4 - Close window in program.

o   Alt + Enter - Open properties window of selected icon or program.

o   Shift + F10 - Works as right-click on selected item.

o   Shift + Del - Delete programs/files permanently.

WINDOWS KEY shortcuts:

 

o   WINDOWS KEY + D - Bring desktop to the top of other windows.

o   WINDOWS KEY + M - Minimize all windows.

o  WINDOWS KEY + SHIFT + M - Undo the minimize done by WINDOWS KEY + M and WINDOWS KEY + D.

o  WINDOWS KEY + E - Open Microsoft Explorer.

o   WINDOWS KEY + Tab - Cycle through open programs on the taskbar.

o   WINDOWS KEY + F - Display the Windows Search/Find feature.

o   WINDOWS KEY + CTRL + F - Display the search for computers window.

o   WINDOWS KEY + F1 - Display the Microsoft Windows help.

o   WINDOWS KEY + R - Opens the run window.

o   WINDOWS KEY + U - Open utility manager.

o   WINDOWS KEY + L - Lock the computer (Windows XP & later).

o   WINDOWS KEY + X - Opens Quick access menu.

In this blog we will check some cool features of Photoshop Tools.
